Harris & Associates is pleased to welcome Ann Hajnosz, PE as Senior Director of Water and Public Finance.
As Senior Director, Ann will be based in the firm’s Seattle office and focus on the growth and expansion of Harris’ water and public finance portfolios within Washington and the Pacific region. Ann has collaborated with water, wastewater, electric and solid waste utilities for 30 years on financial planning, rates and best practices for utility planning and operations.
“We are excited to welcome Ann to Harris,” says Harris Chief Development Officer and Senior Vice President of Water Steve Winchester. “Her expertise opens new doors for Harris and provides our water clients with greater resources from a financial planning standpoint.”
At a previous firm, Ann was the client services manager for King County Wastewater Treatment Division in Seattle, Washington. She also led client management and sales efforts for other clients in Washington and for clients in Hawaii and Guam. Ann is familiar with the most pressing issues facing utilities today: aging infrastructure, capital financing, cost recovery via user fees and the need to balance conflicting stakeholder needs and expectations.
Ann holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from University of Hawaii at Manoa and an MBA in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. She is a member of several professional associations including the American Water Works Association Pacific Northwest Section, where she serves as a member of the Utility Management Committee and Women in Leadership Symposium Subcommittee; American Society of Civil Engineers; American Public Works Association; and Seattle Leadership Tomorrow (Class of 2016).
