Harris & Associates welcomes Diane Sandman as their new Senior Vice President, Consulting Division President. In this role, Diane will oversee all operational facets of the division, which includes three Harris Business Units: Environmental Planning and Compliance, Municipal District Finance, and Community Development and Housing.

She will work with executive leaders to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities that accelerate the division’s growth while developing senior-level client relationships. Diane brings more than 20 years of leadership across several disciplines to the position. Her many strengths include strategic planning, business planning, and a specialized focus on environmental permitting, compliance, and other services. Diane is a proven leader with a brilliant strategic mind and a skillset that helps people and projects flourish. “We look forward to see everything she will do for our firm, our clients, and our communities in this role” said Harris CEO Michelle White.

Prior to accepting her latest position, Diane supported Harris’ clients with expertise in managing project- and program-level environmental analysis documents. She excelled at coordinating local, state, and federal agency efforts on public- and private-sector projects that span the entire spectrum of infrastructure.

To fill the vacancy left by Diane’s promotion, Harris named Ryan Binns as their new Vice President, Environmental Planning and Compliance Business Unit Leader. Ryan joined Harris in 2016, and his specialities include CEQA, NEPA, environmental impact assessments, and environmental permitting and compliance. He’s also well-versed in project management, business development, and operations.
