Marc Gallardo, PE Marc Gallardo, PE

Marc Gallardo brings 13 years of experience in civil engineering, specializing in roadway design, ADA compliance, retaining walls, parking lot layouts, and complete streets. As Engineering Manager at Harris, Marc leads with a passion for creating infrastructure that enhances mobility and accessibility. His expertise includes preparing PS&E packages and developing traffic control plans using advanced CADD software.

Marc’s proudest accomplishment is leading the design for the University Drive Widening project in Irvine, which delivered significant multi-modal improvements to his alma mater. This project exemplifies why Marc became an engineer—to positively impact his community.

Outside of work, Marc is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys basketball, pickleball, skiing, and golf. Fun fact—he became a proud member of the “1,000 lb club,” even while skipping leg day!

Marc’s career began as a volunteer at Caltrans. He joined Harris as an intern in 2013 and has risen to become one of our leading engineers by maintaining a dedication to going the extra mile for his clients. Marc also stays involved in the industry outside of Harris as an active member of APWA, serving on the PWX Committee.

Why Harris?

Harris is family. I was brought in as an intern and from the first day, I felt that our team cared not just about the projects we were working on, but on developing a learning and supportive culture. Harris has given me the opportunity to pursue the goals I’ve set for myself, no matter how big or small.
