David Vallejos

David Vallejos, a specialist in heavy civil and bridge construction projects, brings 40 years of insights and experience to Harris’ California High-Speed Rail team. His proficiencies as a civil engineer include administrating and inspecting bridge and highway projects to meet Caltrans specifications.

As the Harris Engineering Oversight Manager for High-Speed Rail Construction Package 1, David oversees the design-build contractor’s design process, review and recommends approval of plan sets for the rail system’s first section. He possesses an extensive knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local construction requirements. He also builds and maintains relationships with the broader CHSRA team as well as stakeholders affected by and involved in the construction project.

David’s extensive work portfolio includes the award-winning $254 million design-build SR-125 toll road, which included eight interchanges and a 1,400-meter-long segmental bridge over the Otay River.
