CEQA Series: Legislative Committee ft. William Halligan

This episode of the Environmental Leadership Chronicles Podcast, brought to you by the California Association of Environmental Professionals, welcomes William "Bill" Halligan, Senior Director and Senior Environmental Counsel with Harris & Associates. Throughout California, Bill has prepared numerous environmental documents for a broad range of projects. Additionally, as a former chair and current member of AEP's Legislative Review Committee, he collaborates closely with the State Legislature and AEP's lobbyist on CEQA-related legislation.

The Legislative Committee offers a comprehensive review of legislative bills concerning CEQA by conducting analysis, drafting comment letters, and engaging in direct lobbying efforts. Bill joins a panel, alongside other environmental professionals, to discuss CEQA policies related to various topics like housing, noise ordinances, and sports.
